During both of my pregnancies, I was really impressed with how thorough Dr. Lin was. He really cares about what he’s doing and that made me feel really safe. My first pregnancy was routine, but I had a lot of weird things happen the second time around. Even through all that, I was confident that Dr. Lin could handle it.

My labor and delivery was so positive. Every nurse was so nurturing and motherly. It was also a nice touch when Dr. Lin and Dawna Regis, RN, made phone calls to check up on me after I went home. I don’t think you’d get that one-on-one attention at a larger hospital. Small things like that make you feel important at a time when you are going through a lot of emotions and changes. The staff also made my husband, Tyler, feel at ease and at home.

My husband and I both speak very highly about CRMC. We hope that Dr. Lin is around if there are more babies in our future. We don’t want to go anywhere else or have any one else take care of our family.

When it came time to leave the hospital, I cried because I didn’t want to leave the nurses behind. I just felt so well-cared for at CRMC.

Patient at CRMC Cancer Treatment Services

I had a total of 28 radiation treatments at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. Every weekday I had an appointment 8:30 a.m. With the frequency of my treatments, I was very fortunate to be able to have my treatments so close to home. It’s exactly 16.4 miles from my home near Independence to CRMC.

About a week after I completed my treatments, I felt like I was 40 years-old again. I had no idea how much the cancer was affecting me. I’m grateful to be feeling like myself again.

The staff in the radiation/oncology department was fantastic. Jennifer Carnahan and Elizabeth Mayhood are very good at what they do. Their outstanding care made the whole process bearable. Dr. Uy is very thorough and knowledgeable.

Everything at the Jerry Marquette Radiation Oncology Center is very convenient. I like that it has its own separate entrance, and that you can park right outside the front door. It’s a very friendly, clean and comfortable facility.

I would 100% recommend Dr. Uy and CRMC Cancer Treatment Services. Everyone was very forthcoming and kept me well-informed. They made cancer treatment easy.

Cardiology patient at CRMC

It’s important for everyone to know that women’s heart attack symptoms are different than men’s. I’m proof of that. Looking back, I admit I did have some jaw pain, and there were several occasions where I suddenly vomited. I took medicine for indigestion, and it worked, so my symptoms were easy to ignore at the time.

I had what they call a “sudden death” heart attack. If I hadn’t been at CRMC when it happened, I would not have survived. CRMC has a great group of capable professionals who are extremely responsive when you have a life-threatening emergency. Their quick actions saved my life.

Dr. Tinker performed my procedures in Bartlesville and has been providing my follow-up cardiac care at CRMC. In addition to his office being close by at CRMC, he’s an experienced cardiologist, and I have complete confidence in his abilities. He is very thorough and so kind. He listens better than anyone I know, and he absorbs it all. Dr. Tinker has emphasized the importance of taking better care of myself. That’s why I take my medications as prescribed, eat a healthy diet, try to get more sleep, work out three times a week, and walk a lot. Cardio is important!

CRMC’s Cardiac Rehabilitation program also played an important role in my recovery. I completed eight weeks of therapy, attending sessions three days a week. Therapist Daphne Darden does amazing work.

We are so fortunate to have CRMC and its experienced medical staff here in Coffeyville.

When I arrived at the CRMC emergency room, I was immediately relieved to see my co-workers, Dena Moore and John Gates. I knew I was going to receive the very best treatment. They are experienced RNs, and I know how much they care about CRMC and their patients.

I also had a lot of confidence in the connections CRMC has with larger hospitals should I need a higher level of care. Collaborative care is so rare in emergency medicine, I was so fortunate that communication was great between my primary care provider, the CRMC ER and the St. Johns ICU. It made my diagnosis and treatment go a lot smoother.

The speed and accuracy with which Dr. Carson diagnosed and treated my rare condition was nothing short of amazing. Dr. Carson’s skill, and the rapid response of the whole ER team, helped me avoid surgery and make a quick recovery.

Once I was transported to the ICU in Tulsa, it took a couple of hours for the doctors and nurses to take action. This delay could have been disastrous, but all the treatments started by the CRMC ER were already at work fighting the infection and helped me survive.

I’d also like to stress the importance of primary care. Morgan Baxter, APRN, was quick to recognize the severity of my illness and sent me straight to the ER. She has also been diligent after my time in ICU, requiring weekly follow-up appointments.

My history with CRMC runs deep. I’m the third generation of my family to be involved here. My mother serves on the board of directors, and my grandmother was the director of nursing at CRMC for many years. CRMC truly has the best people and the best care. I have no hesitation telling people to come to CRMC for any level of care whether it’s primary care, OB, surgery, specialty care or an emergency. We have an amazing team of doctors. I feel so lucky to have CRMC!
